Can you believe another year has passed so swiftly! It’s at this time of the year when we typically reflect on what we have achieved over the past 12 months. As a group I think we have a lot to be proud of.
With all the troubling things going on in the world today this month’s theme is resilience.
It goes without saying that it’s time to wrap up and keep warm, winter is here. For those not living with sickle cell it can be very easy to forget how precarious life can be. The long awaited HUH A&E audit figures are in and they’re extremely poor. Also over the past 30 days emotions have been running high in our group as we have tragically lost several people from our community.
